As Thanksgiving is only days ahead, it’s time to shift our focus from what is lacking in our lives to what we have and appreciating it. Whether it’s good health, a partner that respects you, a true friendship or having a roof over your head, recognizing all that you have can give you a positive perspective on life and perhaps the motivation to help others in need.
This week, be thankful and mindful of your appreciation for people or well-being in life. Take a moment to smile at what is good and maybe reflect on how the not so good things can be made better by your choices. Don’t let fear get in the way of communicating your needs or taking action to help others meet theirs. Shift your focus to what matters to you, especially when what doesn’t matter is getting too much energy being negative thoughts, people or situations. Happy Thanksgiving!
