It’s so easy to run away from uncomfortable situations, conflict or difficult people we may have to encounter on a daily basis. Getting into those “uncomfortable” moments is usually where change occurs and it’s not easy. However, if we want some not so pleasant aspect of our lives to change, we simply cannot keep doing the same thing over and over just because it keeps us in our comfort zone…because that is what keeps us from truly embracing our goals or turning an unpleasant experience into motivation, a change in perspective or a moment of strength.
This week, if a difficult situation arises, get into it! Give yourself time to understand yours and someone else’s feelings, intentions and what your goals are. Then, make a positive change towards your independent journey to becoming a better you. Taking a step out of your comfort zone will give you newfound intrinsic motivation to take a few steps forward in building your self confidence. You got this! Embrace the change!
